State of Latino Entrepreneurship 2016

SUMMARY: The State of Latino Entrepreneurship report brings us findings about U.S Latino entrepreneurs and LOBs, finding that 12% of all U.S firms are Latino. 


TALKING POINTS: 

  • Immigrants own 29% of Latino firms.
  • 60% of all Latino firms are located in California, Texas, Florida, and New York.
  • Scaled firms are more likely to have immigrant and highly educated owners.
  • 54% of Latino firms are actively networking since they are affiliated with either a chamber of commerce, a local nonprofit, or a trade association.
