SUMMARY: This report emphasizes the various roles of Hispanics throughout different areas in  America’s New Mainstream, finding that 75% of U.S Latinos reside in 8 U.S States, have a purchasing power of around $1.7 trillion dollars, and hold continuously growing assets.


  • The share of Hispanic people within the U.S. is projected to rise from 16% in 2010 to 29% by 2050.
  • The U.S Hispanic workforce is projected to increase by 74% from 2010 to 2020
  • Hispanics are the most likely to respond to forms of digital media such as banners, emails, and pop-up ads.
  • In 2012, Hispanic college enrollment surpassed that of whites at a rate of 49%.
